A group of our Ottawa County Rockets athletes traveled to Columbus last weekend for the State of Ohio Special Olympics Spring Games. Everyone had a fantastic weekend full of athletic competitions and fun with friends!
Here is how our athletes fared:
Alex- Bowling 2nd place
Clay- 100m dash 5th place
Gabby- Shot Put 1st place
Jonah- Bowling 3rd place
Kendra- Bowling 4th place
Marlee- Bowling 4th place
Congratulations to everyone who participated, and our thanks to the Special Olympics staff, volunteers and family members who work tirelessly to make events like this possible!

Sharing additional pictures that were taken at our Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on May 20th. Pretty unique that our torch travels across Lake Erie on a ferry.
