We are preparing. For you.

If you see us, or hear something like gun shots, near the Oak Harbor Middle School, no need for alarm. It's just us training for our response to a hostile event.

Because of the type of training it is, we ask you to keep your distance for safety.

*** MCEMS seeks "victims" ***

Looking for a unique opportunity to make incredible memories, and stories you can tell your friends and family about? Don't just "Netflix and chill"... but "Play victim for a thrill"!

"Victims" are being sought for tactical law enforcement and EMS training where scenarios are set up for a variety of violent scenes, where EMS and law enforcement work together to "sort out" the scene and treat victims.

These scenes do include those with stabbing and gunshot victims. No live ammunition will be used, but simulations do use "blanks" and weapons that appear real. Sometimes alterations in lighting and other sounds are also used. This provides an atmosphere similar to a scene requiring a tactical response.

This is a great way to earn volunteer hours, and/or help with our training!

We will ask volunteers to arrive around 11:30-12:00, and the scenarios are typically done by 4 or 4:30. The dates of the trainings are TUE 7/28/26 and SUN 8/16/26.

Once we confirm you meet the requirements below, I will let you know where the training will take place.
Participant requirements are:
-Wear older clothes due to moulage
-If you are under 18, have a consenting adult with you
-You will need to be able to get yourself into a standing and lying position to/from the floor independently
-You will need to be able to lay on hard surfaces for upwards of 20-30 minutes at a time
-You will be lifted and moved
