Oak Harbor - June 5, 2026 - The City of Oak Harbor announces with sadness the passing of former Mayor Bob Severns, who passed away surrounded by his family on June 4.
Mayor Severns was elected to serve on the Oak Harbor City Council, Position 4, on January 1, 2008. He served on City Council until December 2015, then was elected to serve as Mayor on January 1, 2016. He served two consecutive terms.
“Bob loved Oak Harbor and devoted countless hours to making our city a better place,” said Mayor Ronnie Wright.
