The August Women in Conservation took place at Gargas Farms where we learned a ton about hay & straw farming along with other farming practices they use! Chad was so knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything thoroughly. Thank you Chad and family for hosting!

This year during our fall fish sale, we are hosting a pond clinic with our friends from Fenders Fish Hatchery! This is your chance to hear from the fish masters themselves and ask questions about your pond! We will have paper order forms available that day! Stay tuned for RSVP information! 🎣

Today we are taking a look back to the 2026 Ottawa County Fair! We had a great time with everyone and are looking forward to next year! Take a look at this video where we have some highlights and our favorite, the fishing derby. At the derby, kids tried to wake the fish up by yelling " Come on fish!"
