General information
Founder: Jendayi “Gingerbread” Stafford is originally from Central Virginia. In September of 2014, she was medically retired as an Aviation Ordnanceman Second Class Petty Officer after serving 6 years in the Navy. During her last year in the Navy she enjoyed being able to give back to her fellow Sailors by volunteering as a Financial Caseworker with Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. Jendayi is a major advocate for military members, both active duty, and veterans to utilize their education benefits in the pursuit of their degrees. She enjoys being able to help her fellow veterans in any way she can. Co-Founder: Gary “The Great” Strong is originally from Nashville, Tennessee, but grew up in Memphis. He is a current Active Duty servicemember with 10 years of honorable service in the Navy. He enjoys being a Culinary Specialist, however, after years of training, mentoring, and leading other sailors, Gary realized that helping others succeed was part of his calling. Although voluntarily separating is risky, he feels his time in the military is up and wants to explore other options. Being one who is in the transitioning phase of his career into the civilian lifestyle/workforce, Gary knows how hard this process can be, which is why he is more than willing to be an advocate for other veterans and their families; making things a little easier, one person at a time.
