Earlier today the Oak Hill Fire Dept responded to an abandoned structure fire in Red Star. There were no injuries and the cause is undetermined at this time.

We would like to Thank units from Fayetteville Fire Department (Station 3), City Of Mount Hope Fire Department, Pax Fire Dept, General Ambulance, and WV Division of Forestry for their assistance.

For the next several months motorcycle riders will be out enjoying their rides.

Please pay attention, look twice, be on the lookout for them!

Also, please do not blow your grass clippings in the roadway as this may result in a loss of traction for them.

We hope everyone enjoys the summer and returns home safely!
