What an amazing day celebrating our community! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the Red, White & BBQ a tremendous success. Seeing our residents, families, friends, and visitors come together is what community is all about.
A very special THANK YOU goes to the City of Oak Hill Parks & Recreation Advisory Board for the countless hours of planning, organizing, and hard work that went into making this event possible. Your dedication and commitment to our community truly showed today, and we are so grateful for everything you do.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to City Manager John Barkley, Mayor Ricky Taylor, Vice Mayor Catigano, Commissioner Werning, and PLDRC Board Member Mike Arman for serving as our BBQ competition judges. We also want to thank our entire City Commission for spending part of their Saturday and Fourth of July holiday celebrating with our community. Your continued support of Oak Hill’s events means so much.
Thank you as well to our incredible City of Oak Hill staff, volunteers, vendors, BBQ contestants, sponsors, and every resident and visitor who joined us. It truly takes a community working together to create a successful event, and today was a perfect example of that.
