We are truly heartbroken to hear about the passing of our former medical director, Dr. Margaret Staggers. She was not just another doctor or a title for many agencies around WV, she was our friend. She was our mentor, our leader, and so many other things. This is a loss that will be felt for a while. Our prayers go out to her family and all of those who got to know her over the years.

Last week we had the honor of rolling through the Oak Hill Christmas Parade, and over the weekend we joined our friends in Ansted for their Christmas Parade. We had a blast celebrating the season with our communities and here are a few photos from those events!

But while the lights and ambulances look great, what we’re really showing off is what’s inside those Priority ambulances.

Inside are some of the best EMTs, drivers, and medics around. These are the people who slide their way to work on ice-covered roads to make sure 911 calls are answered, dialysis patients get to their appointments, and elderly patients make it to radiation and chemo treatments.

I may be a little biased, but this team is truly top tier. They truly care about our community, volunteer to help when call volume spikes, and go far beyond providing medical care. They offer a listening ear, a steady hand to hold, and sometimes even become a true friend during someone’s hardest moments.

Our staff truly are the best of the best, and we are incredibly blessed to have each and every one of them.

To my team, thank you for what you do. Thank you for showing up and being all you can be for our patients. You’re one of a kind.

We’re not going to hit you with fluffy corporate language or 20 paragraphs of nonsense. Here’s the deal:

We need good people. EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics.
People who show up, take care of their patients, work well with their team, and don’t make things harder than they have to be. If that’s you, you’re already halfway in the door.

We offer health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees.
If you need time off, just give us at least a week’s notice and we’ll work it out. Life happens... we get it.

Overtime?
Always available. If you want to make extra money, just tell your supervisor when you want to work. We will do everything we can to get you on a truck.

Mon–Thurs | 0600–1800

PAS 5
Mon, Thurs, Fri | 0800–2000

PAS 6 (Part-Time)
Tues & Fri | 0800–2000

PAS 7
Mon–Fri | 0800–2000

Look... the pay isn’t going to blow you away. I’m not going to pretend it will.
But you have unlimited overtime and a leadership team that will actually answer the phone, listen, and work with you. If you want to grind and stack hours, you’ll have every opportunity to do it.

If you’re tired of EMS companies that don’t communicate, don’t care, or treat you like a number, this is your sign to make a change.

Most importantly, we are grateful for our amazing staff.
You show up every day to make sure our patients get to their appointments, receive the care they deserve, and that emergencies are answered without hesitation.
