We recently welcomed this 3,000-gallon Fouts Fire Tanker to our fleet, and we’re incredibly grateful to have access to equipment that helps us better serve and protect our townships and surrounding community.

⚠️ Attention Anahuac Area Residents ⚠️

Beginning May 19, 2026, motorists should expect intermittent closures of South Main Street in Anahuac, Texas as the Chambers County Road & Bridge Department performs extensive roadway replacement and repair work.

Please plan for possible traffic delays, use caution in work zones, and consider alternate routes when possible.

We appreciate your patience as these much-needed improvements are completed to help provide safer and improved roadways for our community.

Our department along with members of the Anahuac VFD and Smith Point VFD attended Fire Behavior training at Lone Star College in Humble. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and sharpen our skills alongside neighboring departments.
Strong partnerships, shared knowledge, and teamwork help us better serve and protect our communities every day.
