🚨 Calling All Local Businesses & Community Partners! 🚨

The Adult Transition Program (ATP) is currently looking for community job training sites for the 2026–2027 school year! 💙

Our ATP students would love the opportunity to learn and grow at your establishment while developing meaningful employment and independent living skills under the support and guidance of our ATP Job Coaches.

We are looking for businesses and organizations that may be willing to partner with us in areas such as:
✨ Cleaning & maintenance
✨ Office work
✨ Restaurant upkeep
✨ Customer service
✨ Retail
✨ Organizing
✨ Manual labor
✨ School/community work
✨ And so much more!

Our students are eager, hardworking, and excited to become involved in the community while gaining real-world experience. We would love to support whatever needs your business may have while creating meaningful opportunities for our young adults.

Today was an incredible day where we honored and recognized 20 amazing ATP students as they crossed the stage and transitioned out of ATP. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and you have left a lasting impact on ATP.

Our students who are in their last year of the program participate in an aging out group to help with the transition, which includes a make an impact campaign. The students selected one teacher from CHSD218 who has made an impact on them throughout their education in the district. These staff members, along with all the staff in 218 and at ATP, have contributed to their growth and success and we thank you! 🎓💙🦅

Congratulations to our ATP Special Olympics Track & Field Athletes who participated in the regional track meet this past weekend! They came home with so many medals! 🥇🥈🥉

ATP Special Olympics Sports Banquet 2025-2026 🏀🎳🏃‍♂️

Today our coaches held a banquet to recognize our winter athletes at our first Specual Olympics Sports banquet where they had a luncheon and were presented with awards! We are so proud of all their hard work during their seasons! Congratulations coaches and athletes! 🦅🩵🦅

Last week we hosted our Step Up Day for our incoming Eagles! We were thrilled to have students from Richards, Shepard, and Eisenhower join us for a morning of fun! They buddied up for a scavenger hunt, activities in the classroom, and a pizza lunch! We look forward to you joining us for the 2026-2027 school year- we know you will soar to great heights!! 🩵🦅🩵

We kicked off our ATP Alumni Alliance with a tailgate social event. It was fantastic to see so many alumni, families, and staff come together! This is one of the many events to come. We are excited to see what this new addition to ATP will bring! 🩵
