Storm Update: June 13, 2026

Due to this week’s storms, please note the following facility updates:

-Menards Center will remain closed due to power outage
-Memorial Splash pad is anticipated to open today. Please check Statusfy before going.
-The dog park will be closed Monday for clean up.
Our parks are experiencing tree and branch damage from the storm. Our staff is actively assessing all park locations and clearing debris over the next several days.

⚠️ Storm Update: June 12, 2026

Due to last night’s storm, please note the following facility updates:
-Menard Center will remain closed due to power outage
-Stony Creek Restaurant is closed due to a power outage
-Stony Creek Golf Course allowing walking golf during the power outage
-Memorial Splash Pad and Memorial Activity Center is closed due to power outage
-Currently, Centennial Aquatic Center and Central Pool are both scheduled to open at 12:30 PM

Our parks are experiencing tree and branch damage from the storm. Our staff is actively assessing all park locations and clearing debris over the next several days.

-Phones are back up, except for Pavilion!

Please see the latest updates for our facilities following today’s weather:

Community Pavilion – Phones and computers are currently down, but indoor classes and rentals are continuing as scheduled. At 8pm, the track and the weight room will close.

Menards Center – A tree is down in the parking lot. Intermediate obedience dog class is canceled tonight.

Central Pool & Centennial Aquatic Center – Both locations are closed for the remainder of today. Central Pool will also be closed tomorrow.

Last night’s board meeting was a reminder of just how special our community is. 💛 A huge thank you to our 2025–2026 volunteers for everything you pour into the Oak Lawn Park District. Your dedication makes our programs and parks thrive. We also want to recognize the incredible beneficiaries of Volleyball for Charities for the meaningful impact you make beyond our walls.
