Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation The Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation envisions a racially just society in which all members of our community thrive and prosper.

We are a charitable organization managing endowed funds to improve the lives of people in Oak Park-River Forest and other communities. You can establish a variety of funds with us, donate to existing funds, establish a charitable annuity, support a special project or remember a loved one with a memorial gift.

The Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation provides community funding, philanthropic leadership, fund management and connections with resources outside the community. We support nonprofit excellence with technical assistance and training for nonprofits.

Lace-up those running and walking shoes and join us for the 6th annual Holiday Hustle 5k run/walk, sponsored by the Good Earth Greenhouse and benefiting the Future Philanthropists Program! The event is being held on November 19th at 2:00 pm with check-in at Good Earth, 7900 Madison, River Forest, IL beginning at 1:00 pm. The race route is through beautiful Concordia Cemetery directly across the street from the greenhouse. Also, enjoy delicious beverages and treats at Good Earth's Holiday Open House both before and after the race!

The Brookdale Oak Park Employees Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for up to six years of undergraduate work towards a two or four year degree. Annual scholarship payments increase as students progress in their studies.

Alexandra Polk recently graduated from DePaul University while working at Brookdale for five years as she completed her degree. Nicely done Alexandra!
