Last night at the City Council meeting, Lieutenant Craig was recognized for his promotion and more than 20 years of dedicated service with the police department. Thank you for your leadership, commitment, and continued service to our community. We wish you continued success in your new role! 🇺🇸

Also during the meeting, Officers Jones, Gorman, and Hendrix proudly took their oath of office as they begin their careers serving our community. Please join us in welcoming them to the department! 👮‍♂️

We had a great time today hosting Girl Scouts USA San Jacinto Troop 106278 at the police department! 🚔
The troop brought Girl Scout cookies and enjoyed a tour of the department, while learning more about what we do each day.

🚨 SCAM ALERT – JURY DUTY WARRANT PHONE CALLS 🚨
Residents have reported an increase in phone calls from scammers claiming to be law enforcement or federal agents saying the resident has a warrant for missing jury duty.
The scammer threatens arrest and demands immediate payment (often thousands of dollars) through bitcoin, gift cards, wire transfers, or apps.
⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM.
Real courts and law enforcement do not call demanding payment to avoid arrest for missing jury duty.
In the past several days, multiple residents have been targeted, where residents reported losing thousands of dollars.
✅ If you receive a call like this:
• Hang up immediately
• Do not send money or gift cards
• Contact your local law enforcement agency
