New face, exciting new classroom!
We are proud to announce that Mrs. Amanda Pinkerton will be joining the Oak Ridge R-VI School District as our new High School ELA Teacher for the upcoming school year!

As highlighted in her announcement graphic, Mrs. Pinkerton is a lifelong resident of Jackson, where she and family reside. She brings a fantastic background to our schools, having previously served as a paraprofessional, literacy aide, and substitute teacher. She is incredibly eager to bring her hands-on classroom experience—and her deep love for poetry, creative writing, and reading—to our high school students.
We are so thrilled to welcome her to the Oak Ridge family and can't wait to see our ELA students thrive and discover a newfound passion for literature under her leadership.

Same amazing teacher, exciting new classroom! We are proud to announce that Mrs. Jessica Fronabarger will be transitioning into the role of VoAg Instructor and FFA Sponsor for the 2026-27 school year.
As highlighted in the announcement, Mrs. Fronabarger is an alumnus who truly loves this community. We are so grateful for her continued dedication to our students and can't wait to see our Ag program thrive under her leadership.
