The Ecumenical Storehouse will be closed on Thursday Feb. 20 due to the forecast of inclement weather. We have already rescheduled clients. If you planned to drop off a donation, then please bring it by on Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have not been very active on Facebook but we are still active helping Clients. Clients with a referral can make appointments by calling the Storehouse. We are open from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays/Thursdays to distribute used furniture, household goods, and appliances to clients. Donors can call the Storehouse to make arrangements for pick-ups on Saturday mornings. Donors can also drop off furniture/household goods/appliances whenever the Storehouse is open, including 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

The Storehouse is normally closed from Dec. 15 - Jan. 15. However this year our volunteers have graciously volunteered to do pickups and accept donations brought to the Storehouse on Dec. 18. (Thanks to those wonderful volunteers!)

If you or anyone you know needs assistance with household goods, getting a referral from a social services agency is the first step in the process and should be started ASAP. For more information please visit our website, http://thestorehouseinc.org/clients.shtml.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our operating procedures have changed.  This is to protect both our clients and our volunteers.  Like many organizations, we are doing more over the phone and limiting the number of people in the storehouse.

The Storehouse will only be open on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 10:00-12 Noon, during Thanksgiving week for accepting donations. No pickup will take place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. If you need assistance, call 865-481-0274, and leave a message please if no one answers.

The Ecumenical Storehouse will be closed Saturday, September 4 for the Labor Day holiday. If you have household items to donate, please bring your items by next week:

Tuesday: 10-12
Thursday: 10-12
Saturday: 9-12

The Ecumenical Storehouse will be closed Dec 23-Jan 4. After that we will be open for emergencies and drop-offs only during the rest of January.

Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, The Storehouse will be on greatly reduced hours. For clients in emergency situations we will try to help. If your need is dire (especially mattresses, beds, bedding, heaters) we will try to assist. Please call 865-481-0274 and leave a message. Someone will return your call.

We will be open on most Saturdays from 10-12 for receiving donations (closed Dec. 26 and Jan 2.) We will not be doing furniture pick-ups for a few weeks. If you have large items to donate, particularly mattresses, beds, bedding, please enlist a friend with a truck or van and strong back to help you bring it to us during these difficult days. Thank you!

The Ecumenical Storehouse has changed its operating procedures during the Covid-19 pandemic. We are open Saturdays (except Labor Day weekend) for donations only from 10-12.
