Utility lines are buried just beneath the surface and need to be marked before digging begins. Call 811 before any outside home project that involves any type of excavation for a line locate ticket. Utility companies have up to 72 hours to locate all utility lines when you request a line locate. Having your lines marked prevents a utility line strike which could endanger you, your neighbors, and potentially your community. Don't forget to call before you dig!🪏
