Omega Technical Services is proud to share a recent milestone for the Omega team as we supported a reactor developer participating in the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)’s Pilot Program during a Readiness Assistance visit held April 20–24, 2026. This effort helped the organization prepare for an upcoming DOE Readiness Review tied to national‑level priorities and Executive Order timelines.

This collaboration shows the strong results of our post-acquisition integration, combining Omega's expertise with the strengths we gained from our recent acquisition of SR Martin Group. The combined team demonstrated how our unified talent continues to deliver exceptional value across the nuclear enterprise.

Omega Technical Services is proud to welcome Brian Cummings as our new Director of Programs, West.

Brian brings deep expertise across national security initiatives, energy infrastructure, and advanced reactor programs. His leadership experience spans TRISO fuel development, NRC licensing support, U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) reactor operations, and independent oversight of complex nuclear facilities. Earlier in his career, Brian served as a U.S. Navy Officer overseeing reactor construction and testing for Virginia‑Class submarines.

With advanced degrees in chemistry and an MBA from UNC, Brian is known for building high‑performing teams, scaling innovative technologies, and championing veteran career transitions.

We’re excited to have Brian join the Omega team and help expand our capabilities across the West—accelerating advanced reactor deployment and delivering mission‑focused results for our clients.
