Historic day at the Old Mill of Guilford yesterday! For the first time in over 20 years, we powered the mill fully by water power from the mill pond!! Thanks to the determination and knowledge from these two friends of the mill (the two on the left), we were able to actually produce electricity from the water/wheel! So grateful for these friends! Pictured is the governor which helps regulate the speed of the wheel.
