🌟 MAPs Graduate Spotlight: Scott Britton 🌟

"The MAPs program is designed to help you in every fashion, and that's what should be taken away from it. It's not to do it for you. It's to help you do it yourself."

Congratulations to Scott Britton on graduating from the MAPs program! Through the support of the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging and the MAPs program, Scott has continued to build the skills and confidence needed to reach his goals.

As an entrepreneur, Scott has expanded his personal and professional network throughout East Tennessee. MAPs has helped him become more comfortable in social settings, connect with colleagues, and develop lasting friendships within his community.

We are proud of all Scott has accomplished and look forward to seeing where his journey takes him next. Congratulations, Scott, on this exciting milestone! πŸ’š

Emory Valley Center is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Phase I grant from Trinity Health Foundation of East Tennessee. This year, Trinity awarded $244,942 to 27 organizations across the region to support the planning of community health-related projects.

Nearly 70 proposals were submitted, with projects selected based on their impact and merit. Phase I funding will help organizations research, develop, and strengthen plans for initiatives that address important community needs and compete for Phase II implementation funding later this year.

We are honored to be among the organizations selected and look forward to advancing this important work in our community!
