| Good evening, GCS families. We want to share an update about the Instructure Canvas security incident.
We are continuing to work with the state to monitor the situation and assess its impact. Instructure says it has not found evidence that data was compromised. However, out of an abundance of caution, access to Canvas on GCS devices will continue to be restricted. We do not recommend that families attempt to access Canvas through the app or parent portal until we can confirm that the platform is secure.
We want to assure you that instruction is continuing in classrooms, and we are working with our educators to provide alternative methods for accessing and submitting assignments. Thank you for your patience, flexibility and understanding. We hope you have a good weekend.
