We are thankful for our LEIC staff as well as staff from Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging, who worked on sensory kits that will be given to each officer at our upcoming Autism Response training in Knoxville, October 13-14. If you haven't registered, do so soon, as it is filling up quickly! This is a two-day, POST-approved training that is free to Tennessee Law Enforcement. We have so many great partners for this project and special guests: Tanner and Nicci Smith.

Congratulations, LEIC Alum and Teaching Associate Lt. Josh Booth, on his promotion at the Collegedale Police Department.

🚨🚨PROMOTED: LIEUTENANT JOSH BOOTH🚨🚨

Please join us in congratulating Josh Booth on his promotion to Lieutenant!

Lt. Booth has served Collegedale for more than 12 years, beginning his law enforcement career as a volunteer Reserve Officer and steadily advancing through the ranks through service, leadership, and continued professional growth.

Along the way, he has served as a patrol officer, shift supervisor, and in command-level leadership. He has also taken on numerous responsibilities critical to our department, overseeing all agency training programs and instructors, as well as the trainers and probationary officers in our Field Training Program. He also manages property, evidence, equipment, and other essential resources that equip our officers to better serve the Collegedale community.

Lt. Booth also completed the distinguished FBI-LEEDA Trilogy leadership series last year and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public safety.

As our Operations Division Commander, Lt. Booth leads one of the most important areas of our department and continues to help shape our officers, their training, and all operations and logistics that support our mission every day.

From volunteer Reserve Officer to Lieutenant, his career path continues to provide a strong example of what our motto means.

Congratulations, Lieutenant Booth, on a well-earned promotion! If you see him around Collegedale, be sure to congratulate him!
