Become a 'voting member' of the Council
We encourage all citizens to become voting members of the Oak View Civic Council. The annual membership fee is only $5.00 (merchant coupons included) or $20.00 (merchant coupons and 1 ticket to the awards/mayoral election in June included). Membership year is July through June, and previous members are encouraged to renew their membership. Membership fees
help support the Civic Council in activities and provide funds to help various local civic groups and non profit organizations, such as the Oak View Friends of the Library, the Little League, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Oak View Park & Resource Center, Art to Grow On, and any other community group who petitions us for assistance. Members receive monthly e-mail announcements of meetings and events. If membership is not possible, we encourage citizens to be supporters by attending the meetings and events, and volunteering to assist at the events.
