Last week, Central Office staff and several Board of Education members had the pleasure of surprising our retirees for the 2025–2026 school year. It was a special opportunity to recognize their years of dedication, hard work, and commitment to the students, families, and staff of our district.

We are incredibly grateful for the lasting impact each retiree has made on our school community. Thank you for your service, your passion, and the difference you have made throughout your careers.

What a fantastic day at Mohegan Field Day!
Our students enjoyed a day filled with fun, teamwork, friendly competition, and school spirit. From exciting games and activities to spending time with friends and staff, it was wonderful to see so many smiles throughout the day.
A special thank you to all of the staff, volunteers, and organizers who helped make this event such a success. Your hard work and dedication created lasting memories for our students.

Last night at the Eastern Connecticut Middle School Conference Track & Field Championships, the Tyl Middle School Girls Track Team captured another ECC Championship!

Our 5th graders had an amazing outdoor adventure at Bluff Point in Groton with the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center!

Students explored local habitats, observed nature up close, and learned about the plants, animals, and ecosystems that make this area so special. It was a wonderful day of hands-on learning, discovery, and exploration!

Students showcased their hard work, musical growth, and confidence as they performed for family and friends. We are so proud of their dedication and the wonderful performance they shared with us! A big thank you to our music teacher and families for supporting our young musicians. 🎼👏
