Exploring Career Pathways in Sports Medicine!

Students in Parkway West CTC’s Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Therapy Technology Program recently traveled to Chatham University to connect with current Exercise Science and Master of Athletic Training students!

During their visit, students participated in hands-on learning experiences, practicing assessment techniques used to evaluate athletes and physically active individuals. This experience provided valuable insight into the fields of Exercise Science and Athletic Training while helping students explore future educational and career opportunities.

Experiences like these allow our students to connect classroom learning with real-world applications and discover the many pathways available in the sports medicine and healthcare professions!

Our Carpentry students are putting their skills to work by pouring concrete as part of the ongoing Auto Body Collision Renovation project at Parkway West CTC. This project includes renovations to the existing space and the addition of a parts container to support program operations.
Through hands-on, real-world projects like this, our students gain valuable experience while contributing to the continued growth and improvement of our campus. Great work by our Carpentry students!
