The City of Oakdale was recently recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) with the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its 2026 budget. The award reflects the commitment of Oakdale's governing body and staff to meet the highest principles of governmental budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, an entity must satisfy nationally-recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation. This is the second-consecutive year Oakdale has earned this recognition.

We were able to celebrate this outstanding team that helps ensure Oakdale is a safe place to live, work and play as our community continues to grow. UPDATE: Eastbound 34th Street N/County Road 14 is expected to reopen to traffic late Friday, September 4. Westbound 34th Street N/County Road 14 will close from Interstate 694 to Hadley Avenue N beginning Tuesday, September 8. The closure is anticipated to last through September 18.

Please follow the suggested detour using Hadley Avenue N, 10th Street N and Interstate 694.
