Logic, our favorite library book, is hanging out with his buddies on the shelf, but—uh oh—he has a “Missing” status in the library catalog! 😟

A staff member placed him on the shelf but forgot to check him in and now he is missing from the library catalog! Will patrons be able to find him when they’re looking in the catalog? No, they won’t!

Thankfully, a staff member is sweeping the shelves with a staffCIRC TRAK wand which is able to find Logic and alerts: “This book is on the shelf, but it has a status of ‘Missing!’ It needs rescue!”

When the staff member hears that message, they rescue Logic, check him into the library catalog, and place him back home on the shelf, safe and sound. Whew, Logic is so thankful!

Now, when a patron looks for Logic in the library catalog, they’ll find him, and he’ll be ready to go on a journey!
