URGENT ALERT! Please check your mail boxes!

If you live in the Oakhurst Area.
Mail was stolen from mailboxes this morning along the FM 946 N Corridor sometime around 9-10 am.

Reported to the Sherrif!

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Houston Fire Department families today!
Kingwood E104 was hit on the freeway by a semi truck.
4 Firefighters where inside the cab at the time.
Thank the Lord they all survived but with some serious injuries.
Not only is this a dangerous job in blocking traffic on freeways by these men and women as career.
But some also volunteer their time with local VFDs.
Ben Abbott is one of those men. He is a volunteer at Oakhurst Station 18 here in San Jacinto County.

We are going to let them go at $75 a piece at the Oakhurst VFD until gone.

Update on BBQ Fundraiser Date
We had to move it to Aug due to some unforeseen circumstances. All Raffle tickets sold will be honored for the new date.
The new date will be Saturday August 16th.
