Friends of the Oakland Park Library Promoting the Friends of the Oakland Park Library and library events & services. ​​The Friends of the Ethel M. Gordon Oakland Park Library, Inc.

was originally established in 1994 as a nonprofit organization with the following objectives:

-To maintain an association of persons interested in our municipal library
-To focus public attention on library issues, services and programs
-To promote the library as a cultural and educational asset of our community
-To sponsor fund raising projects to enhance library services and resources beyond t
