🎉 Honored to announce that the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has endorsed my re-election to Florida House District 98!

District 98 is home to a vibrant and growing Hispanic community and I am committed to fighting for every family, every business, and every neighbor across Oakland Park, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes and Tamarac.

This endorsement joins a growing and broad coalition of support including the Sun Sentinel Editorial Board, the Florida AFL-CIO, the Florida Education Association, Equality Florida, The Dolphin Democrats, the Sierra Club, Florida Professional Firefighters and commissioners and community leaders throughout District 98.

The Sun Sentinel has endorsed Mitch Rosenwald for re-election to Florida House District 98!

The Sun Sentinel Editorial Board said it best: "Rosenwald's record and his prior four years as a mayor, vice mayor and commissioner in Oakland Park all make a good case for him. Tallahassee is painfully devoid of lawmakers who respect or even understand how local government works."

In a Republican-dominated legislature where Democrats are in the superminority, Mitch has delivered against long odds:

✅ Passed three bills into law — creating rental housing incentives for veterans, bringing Pompano RYZE to Broward County, and replacing endless government hold times with callback systems
✅ Helped restore lifesaving AIDS drug assistance funding by building relationships across the aisle — "As a social worker, you build relationships"
✅ Voted against bills making it harder to vote and opposes Amendment 3, which would cost Broward County and its cities $624 million
✅ Secured $3.1 million in community funding for District 98

I sponsored legislation bringing Pompano RYZE to Broward County — a proven, nationally recognized program giving disadvantaged children in our community the support they need to thrive from cradle to career. And it costs Florida taxpayers nothing.

What a wonderful way to celebrate Independence Day weekend! On Friday I was honored to join the City of Oakland Park for the ribbon cutting of our beautiful new Oakland Park Library and the city's Penultimate Semiquincentennial All-American Picnic at City Centennial Park. 🎉📚🇺🇸

Oakland Park turned 97 this week — right alongside America's 250th birthday! What a milestone to celebrate together as a community. The new library is stunning and I could not be prouder to serve a city that invests in education, culture, and its residents.

Thank you to Mayor Steve Arnst, Commissioners Tim Lonergan, Fitz Budhoo, Letitia Newbold and the City of Oakland Park for bringing our community together for this special occasion. Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! 🇺🇸

Oakland Park turns 100 this year! I couldn't be more proud to call this community home!

As your State Representative, and as someone who had the privilege of serving as both Commissioner and Mayor of this great city, I warmly invite everyone to join us for the Penultimate Semiquincentennial All-American Picnic on July 3rd!

The celebration begins at 4 PM with the Oakland Park Library Ribbon Cutting — a wonderful milestone for our community. Then stay for tours of the beautiful new library, live music, a complimentary cookout, popcorn, cotton candy, face painting, games, prizes, giveaways and so much more.

This is a FREE family event and a chance for all of us to come together and celebrate 100 years of the city we love.

I am so honored and grateful! On Wednesday night I was proud to receive the endorsement of the Dolphin Democrats — one of Broward County's most respected LGBTQ+ Democratic organizations — alongside two outstanding candidates, Michael Ferguson running for State House District 100 and Todd Delmay running for State House District 101. 🌈🐬

Together we are fighting for a more affordable Florida, a healthy environment, strong public schools and a government that works for everyone.

This past Sunday I was honored to join the brothers of Eta Nu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in Pompano Beach for their 1911 Kappa/Omega Juneteenth Celebration Weekend.

For 57 years, Eta Nu has been a pillar of the Pompano Beach community — mentoring youth, awarding scholarships, and lifting up families across Broward County. Being in that room with so many dedicated men of service reminded me exactly why I fight so hard in Tallahassee for the communities that make District 98 so special.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Juneteenth and a Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, mentors, and role models in our community!
