The City of Oakland is working alongside ODOT and RESOLVE Architecture + Planning to create an installation in downtown Oakland.

The installation will feature salvaged components from the old Oakland bridge. Part of the installation will also include informational panels that contain images and stories about the bridge as well as our community and its members - its founding, its relocation, its citizens, etc.

The installation will focus on the bridge, but the goal is to tell a larger story about the history of our community and the unique lives of its citizens -- and to do that, we need your help.

If you have any histories, stories, or images to share, we'd love to hear from you!

The wait is over!! It's Garage Sale Day!!

Thank you Over The Hill Auto for sponsoring our upcoming Citywide Garage Sale on May 16th! I can speak from experience when I say that the people at Over the Hill Auto are wonderful! Very professional, honest, and skilled at what they do!
