September is National Su***de Prevention Month - a time to raise awareness and discuss this highly stigmatized topic. Su***de is the 2nd leading cause of death among people aged 10-14, the 3rd leading cause of death among those aged 15-24, and the 12th leading cause of death overall in the U.S.

There are several ways that we all can help prevent su***de, including...

💖 Changing the Conversation: It is important to have conversations about su***de and spread awareness of the realities of su***de. It is not an easy conversation, but spreading awareness can save Iives.

💖 Knowing the Risk Factors: Risk factors like history of trauma, major physical illnesses, financial loss, and more can make it more likely that someone will consider, attempt, or die by su***de.

💖 Knowing the Warning Signs: Visit https://buff.ly/3Rt9ZwF to read about the warning signs of su***de.

If you or a loved one is struggling with thoughts of su***de, call or text the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline at 988 to be connected to trained counselors who will listen, provide support, and connect to resources if needed.

🌸This Su***de Prevention Month, the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is here to help everyone, no matter what you are going...

Our hearts go out to the victims and their families involved in the tragic mass shooting that took place over the weekend at Club Q in Colorado Springs. There are no words to express the pain the LGBTQ+ community faces when tragedies like this occur. This attack was an example of the cruel and discriminatory violence that the LGBTQ+ community is frequently met with.

If you or your Loved One are apart of the LGBTQ+ community, this might be a particularly difficult time for you. If you need support, call our Warm Line (888) 896-3372 or call the 24/7 Crisis & Support Lifeline 988. The Trevor Project Hotline number is 1-866-488-7386 for LGBTQ+ youth support.
Let’s be extra gentle with ourselves and each other as we manage this grief. If you have the means to, you can also donate to the Go Fund Me to Support Club Q Families and Survivors here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-the-club-q-families-and-survivors?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=email&utm_source=customer&utm_term=undefined
