Civic Pride

Civic Pride Civic Pride is a 501c(3) not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing youth the opportunities to develop responsible leadership and citizenship skills.
We are volunteers who work with businesses, organizations, public agencies and churches in order to provide middle and high school students opportunities for: civic engagement, school and college success, career readiness, leadership development, and more. Additionally, we acknowledge outstanding youth, adults, businesses, and organizations making a difference in our community.

At Civic Pride, we believe that developing young people who are intelligent, caring, and responsible is everyone’s business. Our youth cannot do it alone. Therefore, with broad-based private and public partnerships as well as the support of our volunteers, middle and high school students are able to participate in activities that develop and reinforce skills, attitudes, and behaviors needed to be successful in school, college, the workplace and within our community.

Mission: Making our community a better place to live, work, and grow.

General information

Annually, we host the free Knowledge is Power Youth Leadership Forum, the Civic Essay Contest, and the Youth Ambassador Scholarship and Civic Awards Dinner. Partnerships are critical in supporting these activities. We are reaching out to potential partners, will you help? As a partner, you will help enable the organization to continue the scholarship program to deserving youth, and support the Youth Leadership Forum that increases their civic literacy, provide them critical skills for school and college success, and their participation in leadership activities.
