Help beautiful Jack London Square! Come out on August 14, 3-10pm, to help repaint the “Paint the Town Mosaic”, one of the area’s largest public art installations.

“More than just a colorful landmark, the mural celebrates the creativity, culture, and community that make Oakland unique. The very next day, it’ll take on an additional role as the dance floor for Taste of Jack London, so help us get it looking its best before hundreds of neighbors and visitors gather to celebrate.

We’ll provide all the paint, supplies, snacks, and light refreshments. Just bring comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting paint on and a willingness to lend a hand.”
