Blue Planet Network Members in Action: International Lifeline ...
International Lifeline Fund, a Blue Planet Network member since 2011, is working with communities in Uganda to ensure everyone has access to clean water and sanitation. See how access to clean water enables a health clinic in Pallisa, Uganda to improve their medical services. Video shot by Rudi Dundas and edited by Jon Goulden.
What a unique collaboration between two Blue Planet Network members, Agua Para La Salud and Global Water (http://globalwater.org/), and the U.S. Peace Corps in Guatemala!
See interview with Lynn Roberts, Founder and Executive Director of Agua Para La Salud, as we visited the La Esperanza elementary school in Patzicia, State of Chimaltenango.
Peace Corps volunteers are assigned to teach health and hygiene in rural schools as part of their Healthy Schools Program. Our member, Agua Para La Salud, along with the local communities, build the toilets and hand-washing stations. The program is strongly supported by school directors and the Ministry of Education in Guatemala, as well as several long-time fiscal sponsors, including Blue Planet Network, Global Water and Rotary Clubs (Antigua Rotary Club).
Thanks so much to everyone who participated in making this project a huge success for the teachers, 60+ children and their families! - Abrazos, Silke Knebel with Blue Planet Network.

It's a beautiful morning in Antigua, Guatemala.
Here is a very short clip of our visit to La Catocha in Chiquimula last week. Veronica Villefuerte, the upcoming president of the Chiquimula Rotary Club, Jose Cervantes, Hugo Villafuerte, and other community members joined us in the excursion to visit the families benefiting from the La Catocha Water Project. We are getting a brief overview of the water system in the video.
Reporting from Guatemala - thanks so much for following!
