The Center for Third World Organizing (CTWO, pronounced "C-2") is a racial-justice organization dedicated to building a social-justice movement led by people of color. Our Goals
To achieve social and economic justice, CTWO strives to shift the balance of political, economic, and communicative power by bringing the voices of poor people of color to the decision-making table. CTWO works to:

o Forge

links between various communities of color to address the common problems of poverty and disenfranchisement;

o Increase the pool of highly-trained, race-conscious organizers of color to work for community and labor organizations that contribute to the long-term struggle for racial and social justice. o Strengthen the capacity of grassroots organizations to develop and implement effective organizing campaigns that attack the root causes of inequality and oppression.

We are excited to announce the launch of the Whole Communities Magazine, "Home is Where the Love Is" in collaboration with The LeadersTrust and Leadership Learning Community.

As we step into the energy of the new year, we are looking forward to a time of growth, reflection, and renewal. As we lean into liberatory leadership amidst this new administration, we must also invest in who we want to become and the world we want to create. We, along with the people in our movement ecosystem, are doing the work to create a more safe, free, and just world.

This magazine is for people firmly entrenched in their quest for liberation and adamant about bringing their formations and communities along. In it, you will find in-depth stories from leaders within the Whole Communities Project ecosystem and their offerings on deepening your commitment to liberatory leadership. We also provide tools and resources to support you on your path.

On January 18th, everyday people will gather in DC and across the nation to defend our freedoms and send a clear message: No matter what they try, we will continue to choose solidarity, safety, and each other.

This is a historic gathering of tens of thousands of people united to stand against fascism and defend our democracy. This march is about protecting our rights—bodily autonomy, free speech, and an economy that works for all—while holding public servants accountable to the people they serve. Are you able to join us?
