We are saddened by the loss of Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy Aubrey Phillips. Our thoughts and condolences to her family, ACSO and the entire Dublin community. Deputy Philips, 36, died suddenly from a medical emergency while on duty in the city she served, Dublin, on Saturday.

Today Alameda County lost a hero. Supervisor Wilma Chan was a leader and fiercely committed public servant and we are forever grateful to her. Wilma paved the way for AAPI elected officials during her 30 years of service to the people of Alameda County, constantly fighting for the most fragile in our community. On behalf of the entire Assessor’s Office I offer her family our condolences. Rest in Power Wilma.
