Today Alameda County lost a hero. Supervisor Wilma Chan was a leader and fiercely committed public servant and we are forever grateful to her. Wilma paved the way for AAPI elected officials during her 30 years of service to the people of Alameda County, constantly fighting for the most fragile in our community. On behalf of the entire Assessor’s Office I offer her family our condolences. Rest in Power Wilma.
