Nathan + Co shopping week for Claremont 11/27 - 12/5

Hello Claremont Community,
Let's get your holiday shopping off to a good start and support small businesses too!
Nathan + Co. has graciously offered to give 20% of all sales starting this Saturday, November 27 through Sunday, December 5.
All you have to do is mention "Claremont Middle School" upon checking out your purchases in store, or if you prefer online shopping ~ in the notes section add "Claremont Middle School" with any other note you want/need to add about your purchase.

Starting off strong
Thank you to all who came out for our Knights Reunite event last Saturday. We hope the school tours and areas for asking questions about school forms, joining the PTA, donating to the Claremont fund, buying swag, and PE uniforms were helpful. It was nice seeing everyone together again. Go Knights!

The Oakland Roots 2021 Season Schedule has been announced! Roots’ players and front office are excited for the opportunity to welcome fans back in-stadium, and celebrate the experience of Oakland’s historic first season in the USL Championship.

VINTAGE BERKELEY & CLAREMONT FUNDRAISER:

Vintage Berkeley is a trio of locally owned, Berkeley-based, community-driven wine shops—and they have generously offered to do a fundraiser with CMS!

Now through Thursday, April 8, Vintage Berkeley will donate 15% of all wine and food purchases made by the Claremont Middle School community to the CMS PTA. Parents, teachers, friends and family are all invited to participate. All you need to do is use the offer code CLAREMONT when placing their order online at www.vintageberkeley.com or by phone at any of three East Bay locations.

Vintage Berkeley offers “contactless” pick-up, home delivery, and shipping via UPS/Fedex.

THANK YOU FROM MR. MAYER, TEACHERS, & STAFF
Hello Fabulous Parents and PTA,

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your generous donations to both Claremont families for the holidays as well as for raising money to give our whole staff Amazon gift cards for the holidays. We appreciate your support so much and couldn't do many of the things we do without the parents' support — both time and money — that you all provide to our families and staff.

Join our next Garden Side Chat on Tuesday, 12/15 from 6 - 7 pm, focusing on "Health Habits". Topics include exercise, the importance of sleep for adolescents, discussing important boundaries with electronics, and healthy eating.

Our school nurse, Stephanie Lim, and our School Psychologist, Ruth Vogt will be making short presentations including a short slide show and a short video.

Zoom details will come via grade emails.
