In response to Alameda CTC’s 2028 Comprehensive Investment Plan (CIP) call for projects released in May 2026, public agencies throughout Alameda County submitted 68 applications requesting about $267.3 million, exceeding available $200 million in Alameda CTC-administered local funds, federal One Bay Area Grant Program Cycle 4 (OBAG 4), and regional Community Action Resource and Empowerment (CARE) funds. Alameda CTC is currently evaluating projects based on the Commission-adopted CIP selection criteria and funding eligibility.

The full list of applications received and next steps, including the upcoming OBAG 4 project nominations in October 2026, can be found in staff reports for Alameda County Technical Advisory Committee (ACTAC) and Programs and Projects Committee (PPC) meetings, scheduled for September 3 and September 14, respectively: https://www.alamedactc.org/all-meetings.

This initial phase of work was important to keep things safe and running smoothly. We especially appreciate the understanding from the students, parents and faculty Tennyson High School who found a different way to get around while we worked near your school.

Thank you for being so cooperative — we couldn't do this work without your support! 💛
