The James Oliver Community Writing Center provides writing support to students that is all part of a total across-the-curriculum writing resource that aids matriculation by helping students have successful learning outcomes (SLOs). The Writing Center Drop-In lab (room B260) provides students with computers to write their essay assignments, printing services (10 pages/day), trained lab assistants t

o assist students with their service requests, as well as English tutors for one-on-one tutoring on a drop-in basis. In addition, the Writing Center supports supplemental instruction in the English and ESL departments through the scheduling of Writing Workshops in rooms B261 and B262.
