A good reminder from Contra Costa Crisis Center for parents of college students to take care of themselves too...

The Drop-Off Is Over. Now Comes the Quiet. 💚

Whether you dropped off one child or your last, sending a kid to college can bring a mix of emotions. For new empty nesters, that quiet can feel especially loud.

As they begin their next chapter, remember to take care of your mental health, too. Stay connected, make plans, rediscover what you enjoy, and give yourself time to adjust.

And if you’re struggling or simply need someone to talk to, call or text 988. Someone is there to listen, 24/7.
