Multiple Vehicles were entered overnight in the Oakmont Commons. One person was apprehended and charged. At least two other suspects were believed to be involved. PLEASE LOCK YOUR CARS AND REMOVE VALUABLES. I would like to thank all the residents that have come forward with information. Please call 911 if you have any information or to report suspicious activity.

During the overnight hours on 11/02/21, multiple vehicles were entered and some items taken. This activity occurred at random locations between Fifth St. and Thirteenth St. on multiple blocks.

People have been contacted by someone who states they are from our department, and/or the FBI, and requests personal information. Beginning July 31 and running through August 17, the Allegheny County Health Department and USDA Wildlife Services will distribute raccoon rabies vaccine baits across Allegheny County. Baits will be delivered both by hand from ground vehicles and by helicopter. This effort helps eradicate raccoon rabies while also reducing human and pet exposures to rabid animals.
