Our flags at Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company fly at half-staff as we join our community in mourning the tragic loss of Officer Yeager, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

We pause to honor her courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to protecting and serving others. Her selfless service is a reminder of the risks that law enforcement officers face every day while answering the call to serve their communities.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Officer Yeager’s family, friends, fellow officers of the Central Berks Regional Police Department, and all those whose lives she touched.

As first responders, we stand united in grief and remembrance, honoring a life devoted to service and a legacy that will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Officer Yeager. Your watch has ended, but your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Congratulations to our Captain, Nick Cruciani, and his wife, Casey, on their marriage this past Friday evening!

We would like to take a moment to extend a sincere thank you to Zenon Janicki , Joseph Groarke , and everyone who donated and helped make this possible! Our water and Gatorade collection was an incredible success, and we truly couldn’t be more grateful for the support from our community.

Thanks to your generosity, we collected an amazing 116 cases of water and Gatorade!

The trailer has officially made its way to our friends at Jefferson Fire Company No. 1 . Let's continue supporting one another and do what we can to help them as well. Thank you again to everyone who contributed and helped make a difference!

🚨 COMMUNITY SUPPORT NEEDED 🚨

Our Water/Gatorade Donation Trailer is OPEN — rain or shine! ☀️🌧️

As we head into the hot summer months, staying hydrated becomes critical for our firefighters and emergency responders. The turnout gear we wear during fires and emergencies traps extreme heat, causing firefighters to lose fluids fast. Even on cooler days, the temperatures inside our gear can become dangerously hot.

That’s why we’re asking for the community’s help to keep our trailer stocked with:

💧 Bottled Water
⚡ Gatorade / Electrolyte Drinks

These donations directly support the firefighters and EMS crews who respond day and night to protect our community.

Every case donated makes a difference — especially during extended incidents, structure fires, and extreme summer

Please help us fill the trailer and keep our crews hydrated and ready to serve. Your support means more than you know.
