Governor Lamont was caught misleading the public…again.

After the WFSB I-Team reported that over a dozen employees in the state’s Banking Dept. filed complaints against the commissioner for a “culture of retaliation and bullying” and a department “run by fear,” Gov. Lamont was caught stretching the truth.

Despite Lamont saying his office was “talking to employees all the time,” employees say they’ve never spoken with the governor or his office.

Either he knew exactly what was happening inside his own administration and lied, or he still has no idea what his own commissioners are doing.

Take your pick. After nearly a decade in office, both are unacceptable. Connecticut deserves better.

Congratulations Senator Fazio!

Congratulations Senator Fazio!

🦅INDEPENDENT-ENDORSED: I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Independent Party of Connecticut, an important institution in our state that understands the need for checks and balances in our State Capitol.

Connecticut needs an independent voice who will put people and policy ahead of party and politics. We cannot keep the same path as the last eight years with hyper-partisanship, high taxes, high electric bills, and an unaccountable state government.

As governor, I’ll work with anyone and everyone to deliver positive change, make our state more affordable, and build a brighter future for all in Connecticut.

This IS a terrible law for CT, especially Middlebury. Shame on Senator Hartley for voting for this.

Gov. Ned Lamont ended months of controversy and speculation Wednesday when he signed a new version of a bill he vetoed this past summer.

STUDY: Just by virtue of your residence in Connecticut, you owe over $50,000 in debt—the second-highest taxpayer liability of any state.

Yet, Gov. Lamont has spent the last two years destroying the spending cap and borrowing cap passed in 2017 by both parties to limit future taxes and debt.

In just a few years, Lamont has spent $2.7 billion above the spending cap for 5 different stated reasons.

Lamont increased debt by another $1.7 billion by raising the “volatility cap” and going around the debt cap.

And on top of that he has increased taxes on our payrolls, takeout meals, online purchases and more.

Years ago, Lamont won reelection promising fiscal moderation and even called the spending cap and borrowing cap “essential” and “sacrosanct.” Yet now he’s broken that promise and destroyed those “guardrails” and any effort to limit debt and taxes for the next generation.

Gov. Lamont is creating the most predictable future economic crisis in state history. We must change course now to make our state affordable before it’s too late.

Congratulations Chris! 🇺🇸

I’m honored to be the Republican nominee for Congress in Connecticut’s 5th district.

In this campaign, I’ve heard from thousands who have felt left behind by DC politicians like Jahana Hayes.

Tomorrow, we will hit the ground running and spend every day until November working to flip this seat and give the working families of our district a fighter in Congress who puts them first.

Onward!

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

I am humbled by the support of voters in this Republican Primary. I sincerely thank everyone who volunteered and have put their trust in me to run in November. I want to thank Mike Grosso for his call tonight. We had a great conversation about working together for the benefit of Middlebury and Waterbury residents. It has been an honor serving as your State Representative over the last five years. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your trust, and thank you for giving me this opportunity.

Something needs to change, as property taxes will only continue to increase.
Ryan Fazio is the candidate to lead that change!

It’s the most painful time of the year: Property taxes are due this week in Connecticut, and families around the state are feeling the pain of spiraling tax bills.

Please tell us your property tax story. Is Connecticut becoming harder to afford? Is your family making difficult sacrifices to keep ends meeting? Are you struggling to keep up with tax hikes on a fixed income?

Our campaign is based on leadership that listens and responds. Make your voice heard ⬇️
