Last night at approximately 2300 hrs an Officer located a Registered S*x Offender at the Lucky Eagle Casino who had previously been Trespassed from all Tribal Properties. While issuing the suspect a citation it was learned that LEC staff had recently cut off the male because of his suspected intoxication level. The male was issued his citation and warned not to drive but was seen by Casino surveillance driving away from the scene despite having someone with him who could drive. An Officer quickly located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop based on his observations. The male refused to cooperate with the DUI investigation and a short struggle ensued while the Officer attempted to take him into custody. The Officer received minor injuries during the struggle and was struck by the vehicles door when it fled the scene. A pursuit was initiated and an assisting Officer deployed Stop Sticks but was unsuccessful. The Officers lost sight of the vehicle as it headed toward Lewis County. A short time later the vehicle was located by Lewis County Officers who attempted to stop the vehicle but were also unsuccessful.
