University of North Georgia Latino Student Association To encourage its members to become leaders by promoting the Hispanic Culture as a source of empowerment through socialization, education, and leadership.

The Latino Student Association has hosted many successful events that have become traditions of the college. Starting with the celebration of the Hispanic Heritage Month, LSA hosts events such as "Mundo Latino" Expo Cultural, Dia de los Muertos, The Great Latino Debate, their signature event: The Black and White Gala, The Little Havana Dance Contest, and their newest tradition, Mr. and Mrs. LSA at

UNG. LSA also maintains an active role in the community. Alongside hosting can food drives, LSA has various volunteer opportunities within the community, including H.O.P.E, GALEO, and the Boys and Girls Club of Hall County.
