On Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 9AM, the Allen Parish Police Jury will change out a culvert on the east end of Spears Road in Kinder.
The water district will also be repairing a ruptured water line here during this time.

Today, August 25, 2026, the Allen Parish Police Jury will be chip sealing on Cherrywinchie Road, beginning at the north end of the bridge to the parish line. We will leave the road open to traffic, but please if possible plan an alternate route during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and delays this may cause.

The Allen Parish Police Jury will close Mussellwhite Road, Oberlin just south of Canton Road to through traffic beginning Wednesday, 8-26-2026 at 8:00AM until 2:30PM. We will be replacing a culvert in this designated area. Please use an alternate route during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and delays this may cause.

🚨🚨South River Road Residents,

Please be aware that the relief bridge west of the Calcasieu River will be closed by 2pm today, 8-20-26.

Residents will need to utilize Hwy 10 to Hwy 3205 to the north end of South River Road for access to this area.

The Allen Parish Police Jury will close Cherrywinchie Road to through traffic beginning Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 7:30AM.
