Stand Strong you are Not Alone

🚪Leaving an abusive situation can be hard and financial abuse, financial control and manipulation make things more difficult.

💰Financial abuse and rising living costs often trap survivors into staying or returning to the unsafe situation.
Abusers may use the lack of resources or lack of stability to make victims feel unfit and incapable of caring for themselves and the children. They may even attempt to sway the courts all to maintain control or silence the victim.

💡 But remember your worth is not defined by someone who tries to diminish you or make you feel and look less than you. 💫✨

We proudly welcome Lotus Marion into our community partnership family. 💜

We are excited for the future and honored to work together as we continue the important mission of serving victims and survivors of domestic violence.

Every survivor deserves safety, support, dignity, and hope and through compassionate advocacy, resources, education, and community collaboration, we can help end the cycle of abuse and create brighter futures for individuals and families in our community.

The work being done brings hope to those who feel unseen and reminds survivors that they are never alone and not left behind. Access to resources, safe spaces, and supportive services can truly change lives and empower individuals to rebuild with strength and confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to CASA Marion for the meaningful work have done & continue to do.

Together, we can create stronger families, safer communities, and a future free from violence. Together, we can make a difference. 💜

🚦🚥Know the Signs🚥🚦

Understanding the faces of mental illness can be tricky so it is important you know the signs and the symptoms.

Making the connection is often the first step to getting treatment.

Sometimes silence sounds like…
“I’m fine.”
“No one would understand.”
“I don’t want to be a burden.”
This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s remind those around us that they are not alone. 💙💚
A simple conversation, check-in, or act of kindness can make a bigger difference than we realize. Together, we can help create a community where people feel safe to speak up, ask for help, and feel supported.

We honor you!

The Ripple Effects of Mental Health Illness & Domestic Violence

They are interconnected....
If you have ever thrown a rock in a pond and watched the outward motion expand, then you will get the visual effect that describes exactly how a "ripple effect" works.

One single action touching so many lives.

When a person experiences domestic violence or struggles with mental health issues it affects work, home, children, family members not to mention physical health.

🔷Survivors of domestic violence/abuse are more likely to experience mental health issues.
🔷 The Children are more likely to be faced with emotional or behavioral issues.
🔷Families face homelessness and hardships because of the breakdowns.
🔷Communities are affected.

But through prevention, awareness, education, and support we can empower those who may not know or who may be in need.

💫💫Together we can make a difference. 💫💫
✨✨Ripples of Pain can become waves of Hope✨✨
