Benefits of attending adult day services;

For older persons with limitations in their mobility, those who are frail, and those who have medical and cognitive problems, adult day care centers can provide care in a safe, structured environment. Elder Care can provide relief to working caregivers and respite for full-time caregivers.

Our services include limited personal and nursing care, congregate meals, therapeutic exercises, and social and recreational activities.

We have appropriate distancing, cleaning and sanitation protocols in place to prevent the spread on COVID-19 and other illnesses.

Compared to home care and other companion services, Elder Care Center is a bargain. We are contracted with the VA, Medicaid Long Term Care and Marion Senior Services. Transportation is available to those qualified.

ELDER CARE IS OPEN AND WILL START TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR NEW CLIENTS JULY 1st.

Blessed Trinity Elder Care reopened on June 15 after 3 months of complete closure. We are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our participants during the pandemic. As part of our safety measures; we come to the car, complete a brief CDC questioner, take their temperature, bring the client in the building and ensure they washed their hands. There are no visitors allowed at this time.The majority of our clients do not have a problem wearing a mask. The staff is required to take their temperature and wear a mask. After 3 months of being closed, Elder Care opened (with limited participation) on June 15. We hope to be accepting new clients by the first week of July. If you care for someone or know someone who cares for someone, Elder Care may be able to help. We are open 7 am till 5:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Elder Care has been open and touching lives since 2002. We are Marion County's only state-licensed adult day services center. If you are caring for an older adult at home and are looking for a social outlet for them, we can provide that. If you need to work and not comfortable leaving them at home alone, we can provide that. If you just need a break from your stressful caregiver duties, we can provide that. We provide breakfast, a catered lunch, and an afternoon snack. We also have a fully licensed nurse on site every day. Elder Care currently has openings for clients and we invite you to call or stop by to check us out.
