Do you enjoy wrapping gifts? Do you enjoy finding ways to help animal welfare organizations! We need YOU!

Project Pup, Inc. is looking for some enthusiastic gift wrappers for our annual Christmas giftwrapping fundraiser!

We will be meeting at the Paddock Mall in Ocala FL Dec 22-23-24 from 9 to 5! We are planning to have two shifts for each day and hoping to see a great turnout! We have the supplies you will need! Just bring your smiling face and your helping hands!!

For those that saw our earlier post (seeking volunteers for Saturday bagging) we thought you would enjoy a glow up of our friend, Wolverine! He is all grown up now... about 1 year old. He sports a mohawk to events and is a true character! He doesn't make the cut for a nursing home visitor because he has been known to bite 😂😅

Who wants to join our organization and make an impact in the lives of senior, veterans and their beloved pets? We are seeking new members for our organization and our mission!

We are hoping that a few folks will join us in getting back to the nursing home visits with the therapy animals! This is an activity that is very near and dear to our hearts! It provides enrichment and joy to the lives of the elderly that must live in assisted living and nursing homes. Many of these places cannot have pets, the visits from our volunteers and their animals can offer a break from the mundane and a connection to companions of their past. Not to mention the joy WE recieve when we are doing it!!

We had a wonderful time at the PAW Chili Challenge, yesterday! Our booth was the only one serving a vegetarian chili and it was well recieved by our animal loving community!!

Our girls, Debbie and Patty, were bundled up because it was chilly (pun INTENDED)! We saw old friends and made new ones... such a great turnout! The most noteworthy aspect of this event was the emphasis on the partners in animal welfare in Marion County! Our county is, indeed, blessed to have so many amazing resources for both owned and unowned animals. We are proud to be a part of it!

Thank you Sheltering Hands, Inc. for putting this fun and fantastic event together, every year! It is great to be a part of the festivities!!! We can't wait to see everyone again, next year!!
