Earlier last week B Shift responded to a fire in a double-wide mobile home just after shift change. Neighbors reported flames through the roof and possibly people inside.
E24 made the push into the front door while R24 searched the remaining two bedrooms.
All crews on scene were hampered by a high heat index and limited access due to road conditions.

Firehouse 24 was given an invaluable gift recently. John D. Hagen, of the Mount Kisco Volunteer Fire Department, donated a piece of history for the Bomberos.
John's father, Doug Hagen, was a founding member of the Marion Oaks Fire Department in 1978 and the station now proudly displays Doug's original founders badge.
We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the Hagen Family for their continued contribution.
